James Mou
Our little tale.

Born into a restaurant family, with his father in the business for 40 years and brother for over 20, owner James Mou followed in their footsteps, starting to work at the young age of 13. He immediately fell in love with making sushi behind the bar as well as socializing with the patrons.

Ever since, creating beautiful rolls and serving sushi has become one of his lifelong passions. The opportunity to open his very first restaurant in California came when James was just 24.

In 1998, with years of experience under his belt, he opened Rock & Roll Sushi with wife and partner Pamela after a move to Dallas. They have enjoyed every single moment of building the establishment to what it is today: a local favorite.

James promises a great time to all who come. Regulars who know him by name can surely attest that you'll leave full on both food and fun!
